About Tony

Tony began his career in Dental Technology in July 1996 at Stocking Beer & Oborn, a high quality and very successful Dental Laboratory in the West End of London; working within the crown and bridge department specializing in ceramics.

In March 2001, Tony became the founder member of Dents & Dental Excellence created and directed by Anthony Laurie RDT FBIDST FCGI, where hard work and determination created one of the leading dental laboratories in the UK specialising in bespoke cosmetic and reconstructive crown and bridge.

In July 2001, he graduated from Lambeth College winning the Mike Kempton Cup for outstanding restorative crown and bridge work and achieving distinctions in all academic areas in restorative crown and bridge.


At the age of 20, Tony became the youngest lecturer in the UK on aesthetics and tooth morphology, lecturing exclusively for Vita. Now some eight years on, Tony has lectured all over the UK on aesthetic and gnathological principles and is recognised as the UK’s leading consultant on Vita ceramics and materials, of which he carries out this duty on behalf of Panadent Ltd.

In 2005, he left Dental Excellence to pursue his career further working for Kedge and Quince Dental Laboratory working alongside both Michael Kedge and Cliff Quince. During his time at Kedge and Quince, Tony went on to develop in many key areas within aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry until 2007 when Tony decided to begin his own business.

Tony now runs his own dental laboratory, which enables him to concentrate all of his experience and knowledge together and offer a far greater one to one service for a small selected group of clinicians.
